This Christmas, The French Lettuce have imported a beautiful selection of Italian made Panettone by Chiostro.
With its characteristic shape, Panettone is the specialty Christmas cake of Milan with an ancient and noble tradition. Technically is is a type of sweet bread loaf ; It is made during a long process that involves the curing of the dough, which is acidic, similar to sourdough.
Chiostro panettone are now available to purchase with The French Lettuce in the following flavours:
-Traditional Panettone baked with sultanas (Red Wrapping).
- Traditional Panettone baked with Sambuca (Blue Wrapping) (Contains Alcohol).
- Traditional Panettone baked with Chocolate (Dark Brown Wrapping).
- Limoncello (Yellow Wrapping) (Contains Alcohol).
- Traditional Panettone with Salted Caramel (Light Brown Wrapping).
